Yvonne J. Bloom age 91 of the Canisteo Manor, passed away peacefully in her home on November 11, 2025. Yvonne was born on October 10, 1934, to Theodore and Anna Bell Colgrove Atkins, in Hornell, NY. Yvonne was a graduate of Hornell High School.

On November 15, 1952, she was married to Earl Bloom. Her traveling adventures began. They moved to Hawaii when her husband was stationed for 4 years in the Navy. They moved back to the area in Arkport, NY. She had been employed at the Hornell Credit Bureau, and together with her husband owned and operated Bloom Service Center, located in Hornell-Canisteo Road. They then decided to start their family, which was her greatest joy. They traveled to many places, including Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Earl Bloom in 1987, and her sister Eileen Bliss.

She is survived by her daughter Deanna Bloom of Bath, NY, her son Michael (Deanna) Bloom of Canisteo, NY, her sisters Marilyn (James) Welch of CA, Deloris (George) Bliss of Troupsburg, Helen K. Rice of PA, her brother Richard (June) Atkins of OK, 7 grandchildren including her pride and joy Riley J. Bloom, and her bonus grandson Anthony Gouger, 7 great grandchildren, including her newest Anhaleigh Noel.

Yvonne loved her family more than anything, they brough true joy to her heart.

Honoring Yvonne's wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
