William R. Speed, 66, of 18 Russell Street, passed away Tuesday (October 26, 2010) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hornell, June 3, 1944, the son of Thomas and Ruth Spencer Speed, he had resided in Canisteo all his life. He had attended schools in Canisteo and Greenwood and had been employed by the Village of Canisteo.
He was predeceased by his father on October 26. 2005.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Speed of Canisteo, 2sons- Jeffrey and Michael Speed of PA., 2 brothers, Richard and Thomas Speed of Canisteo, 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Disiree Speed.
