William E. Mosier, 60, of
5 Sawyer Street Site, passed awayunexpectedly Sunday (December 2, 2007) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, March 20, 1947, the son of Royand Myrtle Penfield, he had resided in Hornellhis entire life. He was a graduate of Hornell High Schooland had served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the HornellIOOF Lodge, had been employed as a cook at Delta Sigma Phi in Alfred, and mostrecently, as a cab driver for Isaman Motors.
He was predeceased by his hisparents, his brother- Ronald Baldwin, and 3 grandchildren, Michael Parsons, Tiqushia Brizzee and D.J. Vanderhoef.
He is survived by 3 daughters- Tina Ames of Hornell, Heidi(Fred) Roberts of Wellsville and Christina (Brandon) Chase of Hornell, 2 sons,William (Denise) Brizzee of Canisteo and Shawn (Anna)Brizzee of Hornell, his adopted daughter, Jackie Wingof Hornell, and sister-in-law, Ann Baldwin of Wellsville, 19 Grandchildren, LeoMarino, Schatonna Bush, MachelleBush, Jeffrey Vanderhoef, Steven Carpenter, SeptemberCarpenter, Trent Ames, October Ames, William BrizzeeIII, Shawn Brizzee Jr, Liz Brizzee, Susan Brizzee, Wayne Fenstenmacher, Josh Fenstenmacher,Shawn Fenstenmacher, Dahl Flynn, TazzVanderhoef, William Vanderhoefand Marisa Hogan.

The family will be present to receive friends from11 AM to 1 PM Wednesdayat the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell wherean IOOF Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM, Rev. Donald Maynardofficiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
Following the funeral, a luncheon will be held at theHornell IOOF Lodge,
Maple Street, Hornell, NY.
