Warren R. Harwood, was born October 22, 1955 , and died September 6, 2025 at home surrounded by his family after a battle with lung cancer.

Russ is survived by His son and Daughter-in-Law, Eric and Theresa Harwood and their two children, Dylan and Riley. His Daughter and Son-in-Law, Nicole and Wesley Hopwood and their two children, Cedar and Oasis. As well as his Brother and Sister-in-Law Gary and Melody Harwood, Brother-in-Law Bob Turner, Brother-in-Law Greg Kerr, Brother-in-Law Ron Creely, Sister-in-Law Patricia Harwood, Brother-in-Law Don Lewis, Brother-in-Law John House, Brother-in-Law Steve House, Sister-in-Law Marcia Ashworth, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Rusty was known for his musicality which was best exhibited with his talent as a drummer in the local band, “Legend”. He was a lover of nature bringing his family and friends into adventures and hunting trips galore. If you knew Russ then you most likely had a nickname as many of his nieces and nephews and work colleagues over the years at Morrison Knudsen, and later at Alstom can attest. Russ is best known for his sense of humor, and his love and loyalty to his family. The true impact of a person is not the life they live but the life they lived in loving those around them, and Rusty truly lived a life impacting the hearts of many who will always miss his presence.
