Vincent J. "Vinnie" Clark, 55, of 42 West Main Street, passed away Monday night (March 18, 2013) at his home.



Born in Hornell, November 21, 1957, the son of Ronald and Josephine Caprarulo Clark, he had resided in Fremont and Hornell before moving to Canisteo in 1993. Vinnie was a 1977 graduate of Hornell High School, and had recently retired after serving 33 years on the custodial staff of the Hornell City School District. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Canisteo Post, an avid follower of the Caprice-Impala Owners Club, as well as an attendee at the Fresh Start Church. Vinnie was an avid car enthusiast and attended many area car shows. He served as a volunteer for the Hornell Red Raiders Football Team, was an avid body builder, and a NASCAR Fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Sr. He was a great animal lover, especially cats, and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola Memorabilia.



He was predeceased by his parents.



He is survived by his wife, Joanne Manley Clark to whom he was married August 22, 1981, his daughters, Christine M. Clark and Maegan S. Clark both of Canisteo, his son, Vincent J. Clark Jr. of Canisteo, his sister, Ronalyn (Dan) Wentz of Virginia, his brother, Brett (Kim) Clark of Rochester, his mother and father-in-law, Josephine and Donald Manley of Canisteo, Joanne's siblings, Marcia Manley, Patricia (Don) Rappleyea, Kathy Roberts, Christopher Manley, Donna Manley, Mary (Dan) Webb, Helen (Mike) Stratton and Corinne Stewart, several nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 &7-9 pm on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM, Rev. Mathew Sassano officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Hornell.
