Vicki M. Mastin 61 a longtime resident of Hornell and more recently of Arkport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday (April 21, 2025) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, Feb. 13, 1964, she was the daughter of Earl and Margaret VanGelder Davison. She was a graduate of Hornell High School, and had resided in South Carolina for several years before returning to Hornell. She loved animals and enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, handcrafts, the beach and ocean, and traveling.
She was a member of Our Lady of The Valley Parish and a communicant of St. Anns Church in Hornell.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Bruce Davison and twin sisters, Janice and Judy Davison.
Surviving are her sons, William “Billy” (Marie Murphy) Taylor of Hornell and Michael (Wendy) Milstein of Michigan, her sisters, Linda Lecder of Wahington State, Tina Simpson of Bath, Lisa (Paul) Hoad of Bath, Lizanne (Michael) Whilden of South Carolina, and Bonnie (Rodney) VanScoter of Hornell, her brothers, Jon Norton of Tennessee, and Shawn Mastin of North Carolina, several grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service at Rural Cemetery in Hornell with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
