Valerie R. Barcomb, 60, of Green Street, passed away Saturday (May 5, 2018) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Glens Falls, NY, November 10, 1957, the daughter of Morelle E. and Jean M. Whipple, she had resided in the Hornell and Canisteo areas for most of her adult life. Valerie was a loving, caring woman who touched many hearts. She was funny, outgoing and loved her family. In her free time, Valerie loved to crochet.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by a daughter; Kristina Barcomb of Hornell, 3 sons; John Irwin of Glens Falls, NY, Jason (Theresa) Irwin of Hornell and Barry (Maria Fenti) of Hornell, 2 brothers, Tony Johnson and Tom Whipple, 1 sister Elaine Johnson as well as 7 grandchildren.
