Tonya Ann Whitesell, 63, of 1406 County Route 117, passed away Wednesday (August 26, 2015) at her home.
Born in Wellsville, NY, October 29, 1951, the daughter of Frank Chase and Joyce Langdon Chase, she had resided in Whitesville for several years and in Rexville the past 16 years. She was a graduate of Whitesville Central School and had been employed at the former Marion Rohr's in Hornell, and for many years was employed as a candler at Fitzpatrick Poultry Farm in Whitesville.
Tonya enjoyed reading, chrocheting, farming, gardening and was an avid Elvis fan.
She was predeceased by her father, Frank Chase in 2013, her son, Douglas Chase in 1972, and a grand daughter, Nicole Marie Whitesell in 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Deanna (Michael) McIntyre of Whitesville, her son, Donnie (Chastity) Whitesell Jr. of Rexville, her mother, Joyce (Dennis) Pritchard of Whitesville her husband Donnie J. Whitesell Sr. of Genesee, PA., 2 step-daughters, Sharon and Amy Whitesell of South Carolina, one sister, Sally Houston of Hornell, two brothers, Frank (Vickie) Chase of Whitesville, and Randall Chase of Wellsville, two half-brothers, Rodney Pritchard of Whitesville and Robert Pritchard of Little Genesee, several grand and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
