Timothy C. "Tim" Lyon

Timothy C Lyon, 28, of 404 South Main Street, passed away unexpectedly Monday (May 16, 2011) in Andover, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Warsaw, January 15, 1983, the son of Russell and Alberta (Fuller) Lyon, he was a lifelong area resident graduating from Genesee Valley Central School, Houghton College, and later Brockport with his Master's degree in Health Education. Tim was employed as a coordinator for ACASA in Wellsville, and was previously a French teacher at Genesee Valley Central School. He was currently the coach for the GVCS, and Scio volleyball teams. Tim enjoyed playing drums, volleyball, cooking, riding motorcycles, tinkering, the Buffalo Bills, and Sabres, and his dogs. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family and friends, enjoying life, teaching people, and entertaining everybody with his unique sense of humor. Tim has touched the lives of many, for generations to come.
He is survived by his parents Alberta "Bert" (Jim Comstock) Lyon of Angelica, Russell (Joan) Lyon of Angelica, his girlfriend Christina "Stina" Mead of Wellsville, grandmother Florence Fuller of Angelica, grandparents Daniel "Gump" and Lillian "Mugga" Lyon of Angelica, brother Benjamin (Brittany Warner) Lyon of Hornell, sister Misty Lyon of Angelica, his adopted children Ryan and Ramsey Harrison, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dogs Roscoe, and Rydder.
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave., Angelica. Funeral services will be held the Genesis Bible Church on Friday, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Marc Chamberlain, and Rev. Keith Manry officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
