Thomas R. Woodworth, 67, of Taylor Street, passed away Tuesday (February 5, 2013) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hartsville, March 26, 1945, the son of Otto and Hattie (Hale) Woodworth, he had resided in the Canisteo area most all his life. He had been employed for several area farmers and also as a route man for Drakes Rubbish Removal Service in Canisteo.
He was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Ann Moore, and a special aunt, Libby Stephens as well as infant twin boys.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lehman Woodworth of Canisteo, 5 daughters, Robin and Robert Lassiter of Walnut, Sherry and Lee Bell of Tennessee, Becky and JR Bridges of Tennessee, Sally & John Wilbanks of Ms., Tommie Lyn and Stephen Robinson of Tennessee, 10 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 5 brothers, Ronald, Charles, Leon, Raymond and Bryan Woodworth, 6 sisters, Eliza Bundy, Lula Belle Coller, Ada Carpenter, Helen Shearin, Gloria Barnard and Elaine Morris, 2 step-sons. Steve (April) Lehman, and Scott (Julie) Lehman both of Hornell, 3 step-grandchildren, Karli, Wyatt and Laciana Lehman of Hornell, several nieces & nephews including Roy (Vivian) Woodworth of Canisteo with whom he made his home for many years,

Honoring Tom's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon in Tom's memory on Saturday (Feb. 9, 2013) at 4 PM at the Canisteo American Legion.
