Thomas L. (Wood) Henry, 71, of 15 Eighth Street, passed away Tuesday (March 12, 2019) at Elderwood At Hornell.
Born in North Hornell, January 30, 1948, the adopted son of Milburn and Alice Oakes Henry, he had resided in Hartsville, Greenwood and Canisteo most all his life. He was retired from Dresser Rand in Painted Post. Tom served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army from 1968-1970. He was a member of the Canisteo American Legion Post.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister; Elizabeth Feenaughty, an infant brother and two other brothers; Lawrence and Lyle Henry.
He is survived by his wife; Betty Shinebarger Henry of Canisteo , his daughter; Michelle (Dakota) Delill of Hornell his son Matthew Henry of Canisteo, one grandson; Castile Delill and a special "Grand son" Colton King, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo on Sunday (March 17, 2019) from 3 until 5 PM at which time a funeral services will be held with Rev. Shannon Brumfield officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
