Thomas R. Speed, 63, of 18 Russell Street, passed away Friday (April 29, 2011) at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hornell, September 25, 1947, the son of Thomas W. and Ruth Spencer Speed, he had resided in Canisteo all his life and was a graduate of Canisteo Central School. Tom had been employed at Otis Pipeline in Wellsville .He was an associate member of the Greenwood American Legion Post.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Speed in 2005, and his brother, William Speed in 2010.
He is survived by his sons, Bernie Mullen of Florida and Bradley Speed of Hornell, his mother, Ruth Speed of Canisteo and his brother, Richard Speed of Canisteo, 3 grandchildren, Quilin, Taylor and Ethan Speed.
