Thomas “Mugger” Dennis age 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday (July 26, 2025) at UR St James Hospital.
He was born in Hornell, New York on December 30, 1962 the son of James Lee Dennis and Cynthia Jamsion Dennis, and was a lifelong area resident. Mugger enjoyed any and all sports.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Jake) Frawley of Avoca, his sisters Patricia George of Hornell, Penelope Flint of Hornell, Diane (Tim) Flint of Hornell, Dawn (Tom) Jansch of Wayland, Jodi (Dave) DeCarlo of Avon, his brothers Timothy Dennis of Hornell, James Dennis of Avon, Jeffrey Dennis of Hornell, his favorite Aunt Ruthie VanSickles of Woodhull, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present on Friday (August 1, 2025) from 1-3pm at the Bender Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell, where a Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm with Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Bennetts Creek Cemetery.
