Susan Irene Stevens, 79 a resident of Williamson Road, Greenwood, NY,

Passed away Wednesday (June 17, 2026) at Elderwood Hornell. Susan was born in Wellsville, NY, January 22, 1947, the daughter of Donald and Irene (Haxton)Edwards. She was a graduate of Greenwood Central School, then moved to California where she met & married Greg. They moved to Chicago and she was employed by Boise Cascade before moving back to NY. Later in life she attended Alfred State College where she earned a degree in Chemistry. She was employed as a Chemist in Henrietta, NY for several years. Susan enjoyed sewing & also crafting Christmas ornaments for family & friends. She spent many hours helping out with little league in Wellsville.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gregory Stevens as well as 1 brother; Dale Edwards, 3 sisters; Valerie Heckman, Starlith Farrell and Thalia Finegold. She is survived by her sister, Teresa Burdick and her brother, Brian (Janet) Edwards of Greenwood. Several nieces & nephews. 2 godchildren; Ayana & Autumn, friends Dave, Tammy & Chris.

Honoring Susan's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. There will be a celebration of life at the family's convenience.
