Susan L. "Sue" Meyers

Susan L. Meyers, 51, of 4791 State Route 19, passed away peacefully Thursday (May 3, 2012) Allegany County Comfort House in Wellsville, after a short illness.
Born in Springville, September 19, 1960, the daughter of Sandra Lee Meyers, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Belmont Central School. Sue had worked at various places as a nurse including Dresser-Rand, various clinics for Jones Memorial Hospital, and as a traveling nurse for Will Care. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, the outdoors, and collecting Lighthouses. Sue will be most remembered as a free spirit, strong willed, and a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She always put herself second, often going without so others wouldn't.
She was predeceased by her mother.
She is survived by her son Jon Meyers of Wellsville, her 2 brothers Michael (Yvonne) Meyers of Scio, and Robert (Sheri) Meyers of SC, her grandson Aiden Meyers, several nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved cat Love Bug.
The family was present 11am-1pm Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave., Angelica, where Funeral services were held at 1:30 PM, with the Rev Marc Chamberlain officiating.
