Susan Flynn age73 of Canisteo Street, passed away peacefully on Saturday (May 18, 2024) at her home.
She was born in Rochester, NY on September 8, 1950 the daughter of Ernest Marino and Ada Edwards, she was a graduate of Bath Haverling School. She was a lifelong area resident and was retired from St James Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband Dahl Flynn, her daughters Tina (Richard) Ames of Niagara Falls, Shawn Marie (Paul) Smith of Addison, Heidi (Dewayne) Ramsey of North Carolina, Christina Dennis of Hornell, Cassandra (Ted) Clark of Canisteo, her sons William (Denise) Brizzee of Canisteo, Shawn (Michele) Brizzee of Hornell, Dahl Flynn Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Kale Flynn of Bath, her sister of Barbara Edwards of Rochester, her brothers Dave (Kathy) Marino of Canisteo, Rex (Darlene) Edwards Jr. of Rochester, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, her beloved pets Daisy May, and Kazzie Sue.
She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter Crystal Brizzee, her sister Linda Weinman, and 3 grandchildren.
The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday (May 22, 2024) from 2-4pm, and on Thursday from 12-2pm at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell, where a Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours on Thursday at 2:00pm with Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
