Stephen A. Talbett, 75, a resident of the Woodlands, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday (June 21, 2026) at his home.

Born in Chicago, Illinois December 19, 1950 he was the son of Robert and Lucille Pantano Talbett. He had resided his early life in this area and had been employed as a warehouse worker for Bisco in Chicago. He had resided in Hornell the past 20 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Janice Hollister and his brother Robert Talbett.

He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Talbett of Illinois, his sons, Shawn Talbett of Hornell and Stephen (Carmen) Talbett of Illinois, one sister, Charlene Sisco of Hornell, 7 Grandchildren.

Honoring Stephen's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.

The family is being assisted by Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
