Sharon L. Smith Champlin Quintos, age 83, of Alfred, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at UR Jones Hospital.
Sharon was born in North Hornell on May 29, 1941, the daughter of Frank G. Smith and Jean Ellis Smith. She was a graduate of Alfred Almond Central School and went on to further her education at Elmira Business Institute.
Sharon had worked for Collegiate Restaurant in Alfred. She moved to Houston Texas and worked at Hobby Airport for several years. In 1987 she moved to Maryland with her daughter where she worked at Com-Cast Cable and Montgomery County Airport. She enjoyed working with the public. Sharon lived in Maryland for several years before returning to the area in 2006.
Sharon loved music, singing, dancing, and photography. She was interested in the events and activities of the community and made many good friends wherever she traveled.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Corinne (Brian) Harrison of South Carolina, her son Randy Champlin of Alfred Station and their father Raymond Champlin of Alfred Station, her sister Carol Kull of Texas, her brother Daniel R. (Julie Henry) Smith of Alfred Station, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Frank J. (Ledorna Monahan) Smith of Andover.
