Francisco, 80, a resident of Maple Court Homes, passed away Monday (Dec. 12, 2022) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.Born in Hornell May 12, 1942, she was the daughter of Rev. Elmer and Edyth Conklin Francisco. She was a graduate of Dilce Combs High School, class of 1960, and a graduate of the Calvary Christian College in Kentucky. After College Sharon stayed in Kentucky and worked at the Cornettsville Children’s Home and as a teacher at the Mayking Christian School. She had been employed as a care giver and a secretary at the Delevan Baptist Church in Delevan, NY for several years. After returning to Hornell, she was an active member and musician at the Hillside Baptist Church in Hornell.She was predeceased by her parents.Surviving is her sister, Sylvia (Melvin) Stephenson of Delevan. her brothers, Paul (Emily) Francisco of Ohio, Elden “Bud” Francisco of Holley, NY and Ronald (Dora) Francisco of Delevan, several nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will be present to receive friends on Monday (Dec. 19, 2022) from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Hillside Baptist Church, 805 County Route 66, where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00.
