Sandra J. Hoffman, 68, of Co Rt. 13B, passed away Sunday (September 11, 2011) at Noyes Memorial Hospital.
Born in Whitesville, September 28, 1942, the daughter of Samuel E. and Frances (Gordon) Wray, she had resided in the Canaseraga area all her life. Sandra was a graduate of the Canaseraga Central School and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Canaseraga American Legion. She had been a hairdresser out of her home, loved bingo, scratch off tickets, shopping, gardening, crafts, people, and her dog, precious.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as her husband, Bernard F. "Pete" Hoffman in 1974 as well as her daughter Amy S. Hoffman in 1990.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Tim) Neth of Arkport, Bernard (Mike) Hoffman of Canaseraga and Jennifer Hoffman of Hornell, ten grandchildren, Sheila, Stacey and Adam Kromer, Shantel (Sean) Drury, Joseph, Tyler and Derek Neth, David Martin, Justin Hoffman and Jordan Cline, four siblings, Mary (Raymond) Hoffman of Angelica, Jeanette (William) Jones of Springwater, Darlene (James) Barros of Prattsburg and Samuel (Laraine) Wray of Hunt.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2Pm until 4Pm and from 6Pm until 8Pm on Wednesday and Thursday, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 11Am. Burial will be in Canaseraga Cemetery.
