Ruth A. Witter, 84, formerly of RansomStreet, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 8, 2003) at McAuleyManor.
Born in Wellsboro, PA, October 22, 1918, the daughter of Leonardand Viola Harter Ribble, shehad resided in this area most all her life. She was a graduate of Hornell High School, a member of the Hornell Lodge, Womanof The Moose, and a member of the former Hornell Eagles Club.
She was predeceased byher husband, Otto Witter in 1973, as wellas her daughter Lvonnya, and 2 sons, Eugene andRonald.
She is survived by one daughter: Patricia ( Murray)Hanchett of Hornell
1 son- William Johnson ofAvoca
1 sister- Viola Converse ofNorth Hornell
1 half brother- Gerald Ribbleof Hornell
5 Grandchildren:

Virginia Sheridan of Hornell

There will be no public calling hours. A Memorial Servicewill be held at the BENDER-BROWN & POWERS FUNERAL HOME,
354Canisteo Street, Hornell at the convenience of thefamily. Burial will be in Hornell Rural Cemetery.
