4522 County Hill Rd,passed away Friday (March10, 2006) at her home.
Born in Cuba , August 22, 1931, the daughter of Donaldand Hazel (Arthurs) Gleason, shehad been a lifelong area resident. On August 27, 1949 she married Ivan Quaintance whopredeceased her in 1999, together they ran a Dairy Farm for many years. Ruthwas a previous member of the Belmont Grange, and loved gardening, flowers andher Jersey Cows. Ruth could brighten anybody's day with her bright smile andquick wit.
She was predeceased byher parents and her husband Ivan .
She is survived by 3daughters Donna (David) Briggs of Olean, Diane (Keith) Harms of Angelica, Ruth(James) Collmer of Naples, 2 sons Tim Quaintance of Scio and Ivan (Diane)Quaintance of Belmont 1 sister Betty (Donald) Quaintance of N. Tonawanda, 4brothers Eugene (Joyce) Gleason of Livonia, Donald Gleason of Avon, Herbert(Margaret) Gleason of Belmont, and DavidGleason of Chicago, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
