Ruth C. Mulhollen, formerly of Eighth Street passed away Friday (December 21, 2012) at FF Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaugua, one day short of her 96th birthday.
Born in Thurston, December 22, 1916, the daughter of Jay and Chloe Torrence Jack, she had resided many years in Canisteo, and most recently at the Ontario County Health Facility in Canandaigua. Ruth was employed for many years at the former Westinghouse Plant in Bath and enjoyed flowers, knitting and crocheting.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ronald Mulhollen, her son Jan Mulhollen, 4 sisters as well as her grand daughter, Renee Dake.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Peggy Dake of South Elgin, Ill., Lois (James) Knapp of Victor and her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Mulhollen of Canisteo, 14 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday December 28th, 2012 at 1 Pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo. There will be no prior calling hours. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of the donors choice.
