Ruth E. Adam, 84, formerly of 57 Spruce Street, , passed away Wednesday (July 20, 2011) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hornell, November 6, 1926, the daughter of Lester and Florence Emory Erskine, she had resided in Hornell all her life. She had been employed at Marion Rohrs in Hornell for several years. Ruth was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors and especially camping,
She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Adams in 1999, her son, Richard Adams in 1977, as well as 6 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) LaBrake of Farmington, her son, Harvey D. (Susan) Adams of Mississippi, and her brother, Donald (Lena) Erskine of Almond, 8 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
