Roxy A. Robords age 88 of Mill Road, passed away peacefully on Monday (July 20, 2026) at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Alfred Station, NY on June 11, 1938, the daughter of Forest Henry and Emily Ormsby Henry, and was a lifelong area resident. She had worked for Westinghouse and Phillips Lighting in Bath, and married John H. Robords on November 30, 1955 and was predeceased by him on April 18, 2025. Roxy enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, tending her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed her family to the fullest.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John H. Robords, her granddaughter Marsha Robords, her grandson Jared Robords, her brothers Richard and Forest Henry, her sisters Maxine Henry, Edna Kull, Betty Stephens, Louise Lewis, and Mildred Briggs.

She is survived by her son Charles F. (Janet) Robords of Howard, 2 daughters Brenda (Barry) Kidder of Howard, Janet (Greg) Arnold of Howard, her grandchildren John C. (Kizzy) Robords of Hornell, Jeffrey A. (Charity) Ross Jr. of Wayland, Jason D. Ross of Bath, Alison M. (Alec) Schumacher of Dansville, Tyler J. (Mercedez) Cornish of Howard, several great and great great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

The family will be present on Wednesday (July 22, 2026) from 3-6pm at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell, where a Funeral Service will take place at 6:00pm with her son Charles "Chuck" Robords officiating. Burial will be on Thursday (July 23, 2026) at Howard Cemetery.
