In Loving Memory of Ronald J. Thering.
Born on March 24,1951 in Buffalo to the late John & Mildred (Moulin) Thering. He was raised in the Lancaster, NY area, and later in his life moved to Allegany County. He went to the Lord on January 13, 2017.
Ronald Therings lifelong passion was farming. He had a great respect for the soil, and his cattle. His best friend was a dog "Stella", that he raised until her passing. He recently had a dog "Heidi" who was by his side as he passed. Ron was a farmer for life and was very talented, and he also loved to cook, and garden.
Ronald is survived by 2 daughters and 2 son in laws Amber (David) Edwards of Buffalo, Amy (Steven) Mang of Belfast, 9 beautiful grandchildren Rayshawn Thering, David Jr., DeAnna, Daevonta' Edwards, Cheyenne, Emmett, Colby Harper, Haunz and Arlus Mang.
"Then God said, let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth" (Genesis 1:26).
Ronald was the brother of Caroline Basher, the late Margaret Sanders, Jack Thering, Joe Thering, and Mary Thering Martin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Memorials may be made to FFA, Roswell Cancer Institute, or the Hospice of Allegany County.
