Robert L. Studer Jr. 38, of 1447 Church Hill Road, passed away Monday (February 8, 2010) unexpectedly at St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hornell, April 25, 1971, the son of Robert L. and Bonnie Raish Studer, he had resided in Greenwood all his life. He was a graduate of Greenwood Central School, Class of 1991, and was a member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Dept. where he also served as Sergeant At Arms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially doing small engine repair for his neighbors and friends.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Bonnie of Greenwood, 2 sisters, Vickie L.(Lee) Hoyt of Arkport, Michelle (John) Hendrickson of Cameron Mills, his brother, Rick L.(Michelle) Studer of Greenwood, his paternal grandfather, Paul Studer of Wellsville, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from1-3 & 6-8 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where a Fireman's Memorial Service will be held at 8 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Peggy Knoph officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
