Robert N. Remsen, 90, of State Route 36, passed away Wednesday (July 1, 2015) at McAuley Manor.
Born in Buffalo, June 2, 1925, the son of Floyd and Ruth Newton Remsen, he grew up in Akron, NY and formerly lived in Rochester and also owned a cottage on Conesus Lake for over 30 years, before moving to Arkport were he had resided for several years. After graduating from Alfred State College, Robert worked in the construction service for Loblaws Grocery Stores. He then was employed by Xerox and retired as a plant engineer. He later worked for Cross Connect Control Foundation in Rochester. He was a member of the Arkport Presbyterian Church, the former Alfred Masonic Lodge and the Rochester Consistory. Robert loved fishing, sailing, and traveling around the world.
He was predeceased by his parent's.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pryor Remsen of Arkport, one daughter, Dr. Ann (Jeffery) Minckler of Seattle, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Dr. K. C.) Brewington and Kenneth (Katie) Culp.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday (July 3, 2015) at 2Pm at the Arkport Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Heritage Hill Cemetery, Arkport.
