Robert L. Miller, 67, of 7621 Breitwieser Road, passed away Monday (February 18, 2013) at his home.
Born in Wellsville, July 4, 1945, the son of Robert H. and Carol (Lacy) Miller, he had was a lifelong area resident, attending Angelica Central School. Bob was retired from the heavy equipment field, working for several companies, the last being Case Boring in Gasport, New York, and for several years helped take care of his father in law Archie Hillman who survives. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecues, truck pulls, and demolition derbies. Bob was a homebody thoroughly enjoying and loving his family. His newest love was his granddaughter Alaina Ann Cleveland whom he loving called Little Blue Eyes, and liked to entertain her with wild and funny faces and noises.
He was predeceased by his parents, his infant sister Patricia Miller, and mother in law Doris Hillman.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Hillman Miller whom he married on August 3, 1996 in Angelica, 2 sons Robert Shawn (Kisa Hodge) Miller of Angelica, Michael C. (Melissa Olson) Miller of Angelica, 3 sisters Linda Waite of Belmont, Mary Lou Stanton of Palmyra, Sue Miller of Angelica, 2 brothers James Miller of Wellsville, Ray (Sharon) Miller of Angelica, 2 grandchildren Alaina Ann Cleveland, and Jamie Miller, his sister in law Susan (Daniel) Dempsey of Whitesville, brother in law Michael (Eva) Hillman of Belfast, lifelong friend and neighbor Robert White of Angelica, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (February 23, 2013) at 11:00am at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home 101 West Avenue Angelica, with the Rev. David Ford officiating.
