Robert Lee Buckmaster
He was born May 22, 1960 in North Hornell, to James Howard Buckmaster Sr. and Sara Maxine (Bussard) Buckmaster.
He was a 1978 graduate of Alfred-Almond School. He continued his education at Alfred State College, and received a degree in Plumbing and Heating. He served a stint in the US Naval Reserve, and ended with an Honorable Discharge.
He loved watching his children play sports, and watching the NFL Minnesota Vikings play. He was involved in church activities, and attended Moose Lodge functions, as he was a member of the Moose Lodge in Hornell. He also loved camping, and collecting coins, and riding his Harley.
He was pre-deceased by his Parents, and his brother, James Buckmaster Jr..
He is survived by his 2 siblings, Richard (Patricia) Buckmaster and Deborah (Robert) Lewis, His 3 children, Kristina (Ryan) Buckmaster, Robert (ilahna) Buckmaster, and Heather Buckmaster. And 2 grand-daughters, Killarney Maxine Cline and Anhaleigh Noel Buckmaster. And 4 step-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Visitation will be on Friday (January 30, 2026) at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell from 2-3pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00pm, with Rev. Dena Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Almond Woodlawn Cemetery.
Flower Donations to be made to the Brown & Powers Funeral Home or The Hornell Moose Lodge.
