Robert E. Barnes, 60 of West William Street, passed away Tuesday (April 6, 2021) at Guthrie Corning Hospital.
Born in Hornell, November 19, 1960, he was the son of Lynn Barnes Sr. and Shirley Buck Barnes.
Robert was always the one cracking jokes and the life of the party. He loved his family. His silliness, smile and ability to make everyone laugh will surely be missed. The big heart and wonderful soul Robert had is irreplaceable.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother; Lynn Barnes Jr., and his sister; Ruth Tuttle.
Surviving are his sisters; Marilyn Barnes of Angelica, Marguerite (William) Stephens of Hornell, and Cindy Barnes of Painted Post, his brother; Harry Barnes of Waterloo, he was loved by his nieces; Michelle and Kathy Barnes, and two great nieces; Sienna and Vanesa Barnes. Special friends; June Gould of Corning and Timmy White of Corning.
