Robert L. "Bob" Armstrong Sr.

Robert L Armstrong Sr., 67, of 2605 Main Street, passed away Sunday (November 27, 2011) at the Bath VAMC.
Born in Charles Town, WV, April 10, 1944, the son of Daniel M. and Clara Armstrong, he had resided Maryland, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and for the last several years Greenwood. Bob served in the US Army from 1962-65 with 13 months in Vietnam, and honorably discharged. He had also worked construction for many years, the last as a construction superintendent in Washington DC.
He was predeceased by his parents and also his wife Brenda Hill Armstrong in March of 1997.
He is survived by his son Robert L. Armstrong Jr. of Silver Spring, MD, 1 brother and 1 sister.
The family will be present 7-9pm Wednesday, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St. Canisteo, where funeral services will be on Thursday, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Donald Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
