Ricky J. Lorow Sr. 73 a resident of Elm Street in Hornell, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday (June 7, 2026) while a patient at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Hornell, February 22, 1953, he was the son of Bernard and Geraldine Norton Lorow. Ricky had resided all his life in Hornell and was employed by the City of Hornell maintenance department. He proudly served his country as a member of both the United States Army and the US navy.

He was a member of the Hornell AMVETS , and the Hornell Association.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his wife Vera Chadwick Lorow.

Surviving are his children, Lisa (David Murphy) Graham of Hornell, Christina (Charles) Bryerton of Hornell and Ricky J. Lorow Jr. also of Hornell,

his sister, Patricia Robbins of Hornell and brothers, Wiliam (Darlene) Lorow of West Sparta and Robert (Kathy Miller) Lorow of Hornell, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as his in-laws, Betty (Roger) Holbrook of Canaseraga, Chad (Amy) Chadwick of Avoca, Earl (Trisha) Lewis of Hornell.

There will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Canaseraga Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
