Born in Hornell, August 26, 1950, the son of Glenn andPauline Taft, he had resided in the Jasper, Canisteo, area.
Dick had been employed by theformer Canisteo Furniture and Appliance Store.
He was a Graduate of the Jasper Centeral School, class of 1969
He was predeceased by his mother in 2002 and one sister Louise Taftin 1961.
He is survived by hisfather
3 Step Daughters: Shawn Stuart of Addison, Cassondra (Ted ) Clark ofCanisteo and Jessica Mills of Wayland.
2 Step Sons: Dahl Flynn of Fla. And Justin ( Kindra)Mills of Corning
1 Sister: Connie Taft of Friendship
2 Brothers: Barry ( Mary ) Taft of Bath and William Taft of Woodhull.
8 Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
At Dick's request there will be no public calling hours orservice burial will be at the convenience of the family.
