Richard M. Smith, 67 of Bath, passed away Monday (July 1, 2024 at his home. Born in Hornell, June 30, 1957, he was the son of Joseph W. and Eleanor Currier Smith. He was a graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1975, and later earned his Registered Nurses Degree. He had resided in New York City, Florida, Binghamton and recent years in Savona and Bath.
He had been employed as a Registered Nurse in several programs sponsored by the State of New York.
He was predeceased by his parents, and two sisters, Janett Smith and Juanita Leiter.
Surviving are three brothers, Joseph Smith of Florida, George Smith of Dansville and Thomas (Karen) Smith of Hornell.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private committal service at Forest lawn Memorial Park in Elmira.
