Richard “Dick” Larry Scholes

Richard L. Scholes, 86 of Olean Street passed away on Monday (October 18, 2021) at Olean General Hospital.
He was born in Hudson, New York on September 10, 1935 the son of Wesley and Hazel Scholes. Dick was retired from Bulk-Tainers Corp. in Belmont, New York.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his son Randall “Randy” Scholes in 1987.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Bernard Scholes, his daughter Tami (Dale) Wiedemann of Friendship, his grandchildren Cody (Brittany) Scholes of Belfast, Ryan (Carl) Caminske of Long Island, Brooke (Matt) Murling of Virginia Beach, and several great grandchildren.
A private graveside service was held on Friday (October 22, 2021) at Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica, with Rev. Stephen Crowell officiating.
