Richard L. "Roz" Rosintoski, 75, formerly of 20 West Greenwood Street, passed away Sunday (May 5, 2013) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.
Born in Mifflinburg, PA, April 23, 1938, the son of Jack Russell and Ferne Ellen Lenhart Rosintoski, he had resided in Andover nearly all his life. He was a graduate of Andover Central School, Class of 1956, and Alfred University in 1964. Richard served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from 1956-1960. He had been employed as a graphic artist, working in the print shop at Alfred State College, retiring in 2003. He operated his own graphic design and printing company, "Ampersand GD&A". Until his health declined, Richard operated the Allentown Antique Shop with his friends, Leon and Gloria Knox.
Roz was an avid sports enthusiast, with baseball being his greatest love, and the New York Mets, his favorite team. In 2011, he was inducted into the Allegany County Sports Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his participation in sports during high school and his numerous years of refereeing soccer and basketball and umpiring baseball. Throughout the years, Roz also played for and coached several youth and town baseball teams.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Jack Rosintoski and sister-in-law, Marge Rosintoski.
He is survived by his sister, Karen (Kenneth) Koehler of Andover, 2 brothers, Gary (Linda) Rosintoski of Black River and Gene Rosintoski of Vestal. Also surviving are 17 nieces and nephews and their families.

Honoring Richard's wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A private family graveside service will be held at their convenience at Valley Brook Cemetery, Andover.
