Richard I. Miller, 83, of Union Street, passed away Monday (December 18, 2017) at Robert Packer Hosptial in Sayre, PA.
Born in New York City, May 20, 1934, the son of Harvey and Augusta "Gus" Harris Miller, he had resided in Canisteo since his retirement. He was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1952, and had been employed in management for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and Conrail.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son David Alan Miller in 2005.
He is survived by his wife; Janice Chapman Miller to whom he was married December 29. 1956, his son Scott Miller of Canisteo, his brother Lewis (Karen) Miller of Long Island, one grand daughter Ashley Miller and several nieces and nephews.
