Richard J McGregor, 49, of 104 South Street, passed Thursday (July 23, 2009) at Home.
Born in Hornell, March 8, 1960, the son of Charles Lester and Phyllis Ann Lorow McGregor, he had been a lifelong area resident. Rich was an avid hunter and loved stock car racing on dirt tracks. He was loved by and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his longtime companion Cindy Clark of Hornell, 2 daughters Susan Moulten of Michigan, Lee Ann McGregor of Hornell, son Richard McGregor II of Hornell 5 sisters Margaret Willis, Sharon (Dan) McEvoy, Crystal Fullmer, Lynn (Darryl) Clark, and Pamela Marlitt, all of Hornell, 6 brothers, Charles (Charlene) McGregor of Canisteo, Michael (Dawn) McGregor of Hornell, Steven (Tammy) McGregor, Dennis (Beth) McGregor of Rexville, Brian (Dawn) McGregor of Hornell, Scott (Kim) McGregor of Canisteo, 7 grandchildren Desiree, Alizea, Kaden, Trinity, Aiyanna, Patience, and Damian.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 4:00 PM, at his home. Burial will be at Hornell Rural Cemetery.
