Richard L. Jones,83, of
8189 Oak Hill Road,passed away unexpectedly Thursday (March 23, 2006) at his home.
Born in the Town Of Allen, November 14, 1922, the son of Milford and Marjorie Graham Jones, he had resided in this area all his life. He was a US Army veteran of WW-2, and had beenemployed as a welder at the former Foster-Wheeler Corporation in Dansville. Hewas also employed as a water well driller.
Dick was a member of theArkport American Legion Post, was an avid hunter and fisherman and will beespecially remembered for his love of "riding around" and attending garagesales. He enjoyed talking to and interacting with his many friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Jones in 1994, and hissister, Frances Rose.
He is survived by one daughter: Marlene Bolton of Avoca, one son: Michael (Barbara) Jones of Dansville, hisgrandchildren, Christopher Bolton of Avoca and Caitlin and Travis Jones ofDansville, a special niece, Kelly Kiper of Delevan, and two special nephews, Ronald Rose of Kansas, andJohn Rose of Colorado.
