Rena L. Tuller

Rena L. Tuller, 95, formerly of Hornell, passed away Saturday (November 25, 2017) at Ira Davenport Hospital.
Born in Hornell, NY , February 15, 1922, the daughter of William E. and Vera G. (Chissolm) Thompson, she had resided in Hornell most of her life. On November 3, 1940 she married Harold Tuller who predeceased her in 1976. For a brief period Harold and Rena lived in Buffalo returning to Hornell in 1958. In 2007 she moved to Bath to be closer to her family. Rena grew up during the Great Depression. She was a member of East Avenue Mizpah Class and attended the East-sider Reunions for years. Rena was a former member of the Hornell United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for always doing for others and the kind nature she had. Rena was a devoted mother and grandmother
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Harold, 2 sisters; Leona Dennis and Marion Dodd and her daughter-in-law; Pamela Tuller.
She is survived by a daughter; Patricia Marie (Arthur) Quant, a son; Charles A. Tuller, grandchildren; Angela Bauer, Erik Rooks and Rachel Tuller, as well as her great-grandchildren; Sarah Reese, Olivia Rooks, Kendall Bauer, Marcus Tuller-Thompkins, Brielle Rooks and Jaxson Tuller-Thompkins.

. The family is being assisted by David W. Ames, Director at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
The family will be present on Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2017) from 11AM-1PM, at the Hornell United Methodist Church, 7528 North Main Street Extension, Hornell, NY where funeral services will be held at 1PM, Rev. Lenny Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Arkport Cemetery.
