Raymond J. Vosburg, 89, of Pine St., passed away Monday (October 21, 2013) at St James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, July 18, 1924, the son of William and Nellie Gould Vosburg, he had resided his entire life in Hornell. Raymond served his country during WWII in the United States Army and worked for the Holland Lumber Company. He was also the owner of the former Midtown Grill in Hornell. Raymond was a member of the Hornell VFW, the Arkport American Legion, the Hornell Association and the Hornell Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Vi "Dorothy" in 2004, brothers, Walter and Charles Vosburg, sister Gladys Vosburg.
He is survived by two sons, Raymond (Barbara) Vosburg and Stephen Vosburg both of Hornell, one daughter, Lois (Tim) Dinehart of Hemlock, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

. The family is being assisted by Adam E. DuBois, director, at Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
There will be no calling hours. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
