Raymond F. Clark,78, ofNokomis, formerly of Hornell, passed away Friday (May 27, 2005) at the Hospice House Of Venice in Venice , Florida.
Born in Hornell, November 11, 1926, the son of Floyd andMargaret McCann Clark, he had been a life long Hornell resident untilmoving to Floridain 1996. He had been employed as asalesman for the Bachman Company in Rochester,prior to his retirement. He had servedin the US Navy during WW-2. He was amember of the Hornell American Legion, the Hornell Association, the HornellVFW, the Hornell Moose Lodge, the Disabled American Veterans Association, andthe Eagles Club in Florida.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Clarkin 1993, his daughter, Sarah Constantino in 2000 ,his grand daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Clark in 2002, as well as one brother,Gordon Clark.
He is survived by two daughters: Valerie Clark of Nokomis, FLA, and Maureen (Dan)Broughton of North Hornell, 2 sons, Stephen (Judy) Clark of Floridaand Matthew (Lisa) Clark of Olean, his "Adopted Daughter" Michelle Burkybile ofFlorida, 1 sister, Velma (Robert) Coddington of Webster, 2 brothers, Roland(Eleanor) Clark of Buffalo and Lloyd (Fay) Clark of Texas. 13 Grandchildren, 3great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8pm Friday, June 3, 2005, at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell where funeral services will follow calling hours at 8:00 PM,Rev. David Kilgore officiating. Burial will be in St Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Fremont. Honoring Ray's request, family and friendsareinvited to a gathering to celebrate his life on Saturday from 1 PM until 4 PM at the Hornell Association on the BroadwayMall in Hornell.
