Raymond L Brutsman, 82, of
18 Water St, passed away Friday (October 5, 2007) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canisteo, November 24, 1924, the son of Clarence and Flossie Alden Brutsman,he had resided in Andoversince 1997. Raymond married Olga Bay Brutsman on April 26, 1987, they had lived many years in Englewood, Floridabefore moving back to Andover.He was a communicant of St Brendans Church in Almond and was also a member ofthe Elks Lodge. Ray was retired from Permian Oil Co., had had also been a DairyFarmer for many years.
He was predeceased by his parents, his 2 sisters Mary LouiseHouse, Agnes Brutsman, and 5 brothers Clinton, Ronald, Curtis Alvin, Robert,and Richard Dale Brutsman .
He is survived by wife Olga Brutsman of Andover, 2 daughtersBelinda (Robert) Hoskins of Bath, Lori Sutton of Risingville, step daughterJudith (Ross) Pfingsten of Florida, 2 sons Timothy and William Brutsman ofMissouri, step son James Burd of Greenwood, sister Alice Weed of Canisteo, 2brothers Donald Brutsman of Arkport, William Brutsman of TX, ? sisters WanitaWhitcher of NC, Sandra Coon of Penn Yann, ? brothers Alton Brutsman ofRathbone, and Cleon Brutsman of Cameron, several grand and great grandchildrenand many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present 4-7pm Tuesday, at the Bender - Brown & Powers FuneralHome,
354 Canisteo St,Hornell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St Brendans Church onWednesday, at 11:00 AM, with celebrant Father Dan Callahan . Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Fremont.
