Randall T. "Randy" Plank, 49, of
6130 Campbell Creek Road, passed away Thursday (June 22, 2006) at Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira.
Born in Hornell, June 6, 1957, the son of James A. and Joyce A. Burchard Plank, he had resided all his life in this area. He had served in the US Army and was a self-employed Timber Harvester. Randy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and playing pool. He always had a good come back for every joke and was always there for a friend in need. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and husband, and loving son.
Randy was predeceased by his father-in-law, Robert Prouty.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Prouty Plank of Bath, his parents James and Joyce Plank also of Bath, his children, Randy "Josh" Plank Jr, Alisha Plank, and Kali Plank all at home, Kendra and Regina Raub both of Scio, 4 sisters, Charlene Thayer and Diana Plank both of Bath, Brenda (Wayne Sutton) Barcomb of Cameron and Marcia (Curtis) Rice of Canisteo, 2 brothers, James T. Plank and Keith (Frances) Plank both of Canisteo, Sisters-in-law, Mary Prouty of Bath, Linda (Steve) Henshaw of Arkport, Pam Prouty of Avon, brothers-in-law, Robert M. Prouty of Avoca, David Prouty of Port Charlotte, Florida, his mother-in-law, Gladys Prouty of Hornell, special friends, Ben Burleson and Sally Dennis, Lynn and Audrey Hyer of Bath, Huck Covell of Bath, Rick and Tracy Porter of Oswego, Tom Kaszewski of Bath, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his many friends at the Chat-A-Whyle, The Office, and Shooters. Also a special aunt, "Auntie Bonnie Saltzer of Prattsburg.

6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services will follow calling hours at 1 :00 PM, Rev. Patrick Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
