Born in Liverpool, England, March 23, 1916, the daughter of WalterSamuel and Amelia Michel Whitfield, she had resided in England all her lifeuntil moving to Hartsville to reside with her son about 1 ? years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Hughes Perks.
She is survived by one daughter, Vivienne (Peter) Lowe ofEngland, 2 sons, Stephen (Shirley) Perks of England, and Stuart (Vicki) Perksof Hartsville. 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
