Phyllis M. McGregor, 70, of Sheldon Street, passed away Sunday (May 15, 2011) at St. James Hospital.
Born in North Hornell, January 16, 1941, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Henshaw) Eymer, she had resided in the Hornell area most of her life. Phyllis worked in the housekeeping department for the Former Bethesda Community Hospital and retired from St. James Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the Hornell Lodge #620 WOTM and also the Hornell Association. Phyllis enjoyed bowling, dancing and her favorite TV shows; but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Mark McGregor as well as one sister; Edna Miles.
She is survived by one son; Benjamin (Pamela) McGregor of Hornell, three daughters; Patricia Jackson, Sandra Coogan and Sherry VanDuser all of Hornell, three brothers; Albert (Sandra) Eymer Jr. of Bishopville, Kenneth Eymer of Hornell and David (Tammy) Eymer of Hornell, two sisters; Mary (Gary) Ritenburg of Hornell and Betty Jean (Jerry) Sprague of Arkport, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 1PM until 3PM and from 6PM until 8PM on Tuesday (May 17, 2011), at the Robertson Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
