Stiles age 59 passed away at his home on Friday June 9, 2023.He was born in Hornell on November 1, 1963 to the son of Paul and Donna Stiles. Phil graduated from the Hornell High School in 1982. During High School he worked at Sample Furniture and took care of his elderly neighbor. Phil also worked at Gunlocke, Stone Construction and Equipment, Diamond Glass and later retired from Alfred State College.Phil enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, traveling with family and friends, visiting state parks and watching the Buffalo Bills and New York Mets. Phil also spent 5 years coaching his son Eric in little league and cherished every minute of it.Phil will be remembered for his sense of humor, his big heart and his willingness to help people out when he could.Phil is predeceased by his first son Philip L. Stiles Jr. and maternal/ paternal grandparents.Phillip is survived by his Fiancé Maryann Toledo Ramillano of the Philippines. His first wife Debbie (Clark) Coats of Hornell. His second wife Cathy (Ingalls) Stiles of Hornell. His son Eric Stiles of Hornell. His parents Paul and Donna (DeCook) Stiles of Hornell. Phil is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister; Kenneth Stiles of Hornell, Paul (Yvette Campbell) Stiles of Florida, Daniel (Maria) Stiles of Hornell and Kathy (Rick) Bates of Hornell. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday June 17, 2023 from 1-3PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Hornell. A funeral service will be held following calling hours with Rev. Douglas Jones Officiating.
