Penny M. Harvey, 53, of 29 Second Street, passed away unexpectedly Monday (August 22, 2016) at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Born in Tacoma, WA, April 9, 1963, the daughter of Ernest and Della "Sue" Root Beyea, she had resided in the Canisteo and Hornell area most all of her life. She was a graduate of Arkport Central School, and had been employed at the Steuben ARC in Hornell ; volunteered at the Hornell Senior Citizens Center assisting with the Meals On Wheels Program, and was a long time volunteer for the Steuben Rural Ministry in Canisteo.
She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Beyea in 2006 and her brother Donald Beyea in 1998.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Harvey-Matt (Tim Prior) of Hornell and her children; Ayden, Urijah and Keegan, and Anthony (Holly Willis) Harvey of Hornell, and his children; Nathan, Andrew and Danyl, her mother Sue Beyea of Canisteo, her sisters, Cindy (Tom) Mills of Canisteo, and Judith (Rusty) Collins of South Carolina, her brothers, Roger (Laurie) Beyea of Canisteo and Jeffrey Beyea of Canisteo, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday (Aug. 27, 2016) at the Canisteo Wesleyan Church, 25 Greenwood Street, in Canisteo at 1 PM. Rev. Donald Maynard will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
