Pauline F Wilcox, 76, of 4082 State Route 36, passed away Friday (April 30, 2010) at St. James Hospital.



Born in Cameron, November 28, 1933, the daughter of Walter W and Cora Horton Jackson Sr, she was a lifelong area resident, and graduated from Canisteo Central School. Polly had worked various jobs her, last as a secretary for Spitunik's in Hornell. She worked tirelessly volunteering for Adrian Baptist Church, and Steuben Rural Ministries. Polly enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, but most of all her family.



She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Richard O'Dell, her second husband Donald "Dick" Wilcox Jr, and her half sister Neva Gardiner.



She is survived by her son Jeffery (Rita) O'Dell of Canisteo, grandchildren Keli (James Denk) O'Dell of Geneseo, Scott O'Dell of Canisteo, brother Walter (Janet) Jackson Jr of Greenwood, half brothers and sisters Leo Cline of Hornell, Warren (Brenda) Cline of Addison, Melvin (Lynn) Cline of Almond, Milford (Julia) Cline of Lindley, J. Joyce (Jack) Dineen of Canisteo, Franklin (DiAnn) Jackson of Campbell, Jean Gardiner of Campbell, Kay (Glenn)Vosburg of Cameron Mills, Edward (Sue) Jackson of Bath, Wilby (Annie) Jackson of Bath, Geraldin Judy Percival of Bath, Bonnie Jackson of Bath, Step brother Vance (Diane) Cline of Addison, step children Dr. Daniel (Helen) Wilcox of Birmingham England, Dr. Donald (Pamela) Wilcox of Dansville, Michael Wilcox of Dansville, Timothy (Mary) Wilcox of Wayland, Thomas (Jody) Wilcox of Kent, and foster brother Ronnie VanHorne of Canisteo.



The family will be present 4-7pm Monday, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, with the Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Rexville.
